Telling My Truth

So this is my first blog post and I'm not really sure what to write so bare with me...

Imagine being sixteen and you're in France on holiday with friends. You're having a great time, you've tried snails for the first time, made some good friends, and even had some birthday cake. But you've got this feeling deep down inside you that something is wrong. Really wrong!

You come home to the news that your father has been kidnapped in Syria. It's at this point your whole life changes.

You're told that this information needs to be kept a secret from everyone in your life. By doing this you're inviting in a future of lies and secrets.
